More about Girl Scouts of Western Washington: Girl Scouts of Western Washington is the premier leadership development organization for girls*—building the next generation of leaders one adventure, badge, and act of courage at a time. With programs focused on leadership, STEM, the outdoors, life skills, and entrepreneurship, from kindergarten through high school Girl Scouts gain the confidence and experience to make a difference in their communities and the wider world. We serve more than 15,000 girls* and their families across 18 counties. Together with thousands of dedicated volunteers, we ensure every Girl Scout—regardless of financial barriers—has access to life-changing educational and community building opportunities. Whether they’re exploring nature, building rockets, or standing up for what’s right, Girl Scouts discover their strengths and make ambitious plans for their futures.
*Girl Scouts of Western Washington uses the term girls inclusively to speak to everyone who identifies with the Girl Scout experience, which includes cisgender girls, gender-expansive youth, transgender youth, non-binary youth, gender nonconforming youth, genderqueer youth, and any girl-identifying human.
